2 - Place the fabric on a flat surface and prepare the yarn by separating it into individual strands.

3 - Thread the hook tool using one strand of yarn, and pull it through one of the holes in the fabric.

4 - Use the tool to create a loop by pulling up on the yarn. Do this for each square or space in the fabric that is called for by the pattern.

5 - Once all the squares have been looped with yarn, trim any excess yarn to create an even surface.

6 - Continue looping and trimming until the pattern is completed.
